तब छाङि
  दियो रबि कष्ट
  निवारो 
को नहिं
  जानत है जग में

Baala samai rabi
  bhakshi liyo, 
taba teenahu loka bhayo
  andhiyaaro 
Taahi so traasa bhayo
  jaga-ko, 
yaha sankata kaahu so
  jaata na taaro  | 
Dewan-aani karee
  binatee, 
taba chaari diyo rabi
  kashta nivaaro 
Ko nahin jaanata hai
  jaga mein kapi, 
sankat mochan naama tihaaro  ||  1 |

Meaning: 
During childhood, You swallowed the Sun. Then the
  whole world became dark. On that account, the whole world was troubled and no
  one could rectify the situation. The demi-gods came and requested You, and
  You released the Sun from Your mouth to remove the fear. In this world, who
  does not know that You are known as remover of obstacles, O Kapi! | |

Baali kee traasa kapeesa basai giri 
jaata mahaa prabhu pantha nihaaro 
Chaunki mahaa muni
  saapa diyo, 
taba chaahiya kauna
  bichaara bichaaro  | 
Kai divja roopa livaaya
  mahaa prabhu, 
 so tuma daasa ke soka nihaaro 
Ko nahin jaanata hai
  jaga mein kapi 
sankat mochan naama tihaaro  ||  2 |

Meaning: 
Due to fear of Baali, Sugreeva lived on a mountain.
  He saw Lord Raama on His way. He could not leave the mountain due to the
  curse of a saint. You found a solution to this (i.e. You selected the thought
  that was needed). You took the form of a seer and brought Lord Raama, and
  relieved the suffering of Sugreeva. In this world, who does not know that You
  are known as remover of obstacles, O Kapi! | |

Angad kay sanga lena gaye Siya, 
khoja kapeesa yaha baina uchaaro 
Jeewata naa bachihau hum soju, 
binaa sudhi laa-ai ihaan pagu dhaaro  | 
Heri thaki tatta sindhu sabai taba, 
laaya Siyaa sudhi praana ubaaro 
Ko nahin jaanata hai
  jaga mein kapi 
sankat mochan naama tihaaro  ||  3 |

Meaning: 
You went with Angada (and others) to find Seetaa and
  Angada said, ‘We will not remain alive unless we return with information
  about Seetaa.’ They all got tired when they saw the ocean from the coast.
  Then You brought information about Seetaa and saved everyone. In this world,
  who does not know that You are known as remover of obstacles, O Kapi! | |

Raavana traasa da-ee
  Siya ko, 
saba raakshasi son kahi
  soka nivaaro 
Taahi samaya Hanumaana
  mahaa prabhu, 
jaaya mahaa
  rajaneechara maaro  | 
Chaahita Siya asoka son
  aagi, 
so dai prabhu mudrikaa
  soka nivaaro 
Ko nahin jaanata hai
  jaga mein kapi 
sankat mochan naama tihaaro  ||  4 |

Meaning: 
Raavana ordered all the female demons to trouble
  Seetaa. She asked (Trijataa) to remove Her troubles (by building a funeral
  pyre into which She could jump). At that moment Hanumaan, the great Lord,
  went and killed many demons there. He wanted Seetaa to be relived and
  therefore, He gave her Raama’s ring to dispel her anxiety. In this world, who

Baana lagyo ura Lachimana ke, 
taba praana taje suta Raavana maaro 
Lai griha vaidya Sushena sameta, 
tabai giri Drona subeera upaaro  | 
Aani sanjeevana haatha da-ee, 
taba Lachimana ke tuma praana ubaaro 
Ko nahin jaanata hai
  jaga mein kapi 
sankat mochan naama tihaaro  ||  5 |

Meaning: 
When the arrow of Meghanaada (son of Raavana) struck
  the heart of Lakshmana, He almost died. You brought the healer Sushena, along
  with his home, and then finally You brought Mount Drona
  which had the magical herb Sanjeevani. By giving this herb, You rescued the
  life of Lakshmana. In this world, who does not know that You are known as
  remover of obstacles, O Kapi! | |

Raavana juddha ajaana kiyo, 
taba naaga ki phaansa sabai sira daaro 
Sri Raghunatha sameta sabai, 
dala moha bhayo yaha sankat bhaaro  | 
Aani khagesa tabai Hanumaana ju, 
bandhana kaati sutraasa nivaaro 
Ko nahin jaanata hai
  jaga mein kapi 
sankat mochan naama tihaaro  ||  6 |

Raavana fought a war while remaining invisible and
  chained everyone in Naagapaasa (chain made of cobras). Along with Shri Raama,
  everyone got deluded and thought it to be very big trouble. You brought
  Garuda (from Vaikuntha), Who ripped apart the snakes. In this world, who does

  सैन्य समेत सँहारो

Bandhu sameta jabai Ahiraavana, 
lay raghunaatha pataala sidhaaro 
Devihi puji bhalee vidhi, 
so-bali dehu sabai mili mantra vichaaro  | 
Jaaya sahaaya bhayo taba hee, 
Ahiraavana sainya samet sanghaaro 
Ko nahin jaanata hai jaga mein kapi, 
sankat mochan naama tihaaro  ||  7 |

Meaning: 
When Ahiraavana (Raavana’s brother) kidnapped Raama
  and His brother Lakshmana, he prayed to the Goddess in various ways and
  prepared well for the human sacrifice of Raama. Then You went as a helper to Raama
  and killed Ahiraavana along with his army. In this world, who does not know
  that You are known as remover of obstacles, O Kapi! | |

Kaaja kiyo barda devana ke, 
tuma beera mahaa prabhu dekhi bichaaro 
Kauna so sankata mora
  gareeba, 
ko jo tuma so nahin
  jaata hai taaro  | 
Begi haro Hanumaana maha
  prabhu, 
so kachu sankat hoya
  hamaaro 
Ko nahin jaanata hai
  jaga mein kapi 
sankat mochan naama tihaaro  ||  8 |

Meaning: 
You have done deeds for great noble Ones. O brave
  and great Lord, cast a glance on me and then decide what pain of the
  destitute me cannot be removed by you? (In other words, remove all my pain!).
  O Hanumaan the great lord, please absolve any of our existing troubles
  quickly. In this world, who does not know that You are known as remover of
  obstacles, O Kapi! | |
